Feel the Power

Beckett went eight strong last night, keeping the Sox close in a 1-2 game until the 8th, when Wily "Gimme Some" Mo Pena cleared the loaded bases with an absolute bomb to deep center. He really cranked that thing. The recipe for getting Pena out is to throw him breaking balls all day long. Ray couldn't get his stuff over the plate, however, and he was forced to groove one to WMP. Pena pounded that ball some 430' out of the park against incoming wind. Amazing. The Grand Slam put the Sox up 5-2, and the flawless Pap came in and made sure no more Orioles got drinks, cuz the bar was closed for the evening.

Matsuzaka goes against Pettitte this evening. Being that my head feels like it is twice as big as normal, my eyes are watering, I'm loopy, dizzy, and my voice sounds like I'm 14 years old, I think I have a hot date with my couch. Spooning and Sox action to be had.
