The Good Side of Bad Books

I enjoyed this recent post by Stuart Evers about the benefits (yes, benefits!) of reading bad novels. I've had a couple recent clunkers, so this had a special appeal to me. And I think there's some truth to what he says.

But I think we should still strive for an extremely high ratio of good books to bad, no?
