Obama-Biden 2008!

A great speech from Bill last night, as well as Beau Biden, Joe's son, prefacing the Senator's own speech. A powerful and effective evening for the Dems, with a "surprise" appearance by Obama to bring down the house.

Looking forward to the man's speech tonight.

History, folks - you're watching it right now.

People the world over have always been more impressed by the power of our example than by the example of our power.

Biden is a good speaker and debater. He hasn't really done much however in the senate after all these years. A lot of promises from these guys. It's easy to tell the country, while in the midst of extremely difficult times, that change is on the way if they get their votes. We shall see, and I am highly skeptical. It is a very convenient time for this election from the Democrats perspective. Use all of the negativity surrounding the Bush administration as a vehicle for their own platform. Smart...yet people are too naive (or stupid) to realize they are listening to what will most likely amount to an overwhelming jumble of empty promises.

I do however agree with a lot of the sentiments about our foreign policy. We need to rebuild our reputation and still smack people in the teeth if we have to. Hard to find a leader who can accomplish both, but I can tell you Barack Obama probably is not that man.
