Travel Journal Status: On Hiatus

Several people have been asking me about the status of my travel journal. I'm flattered by this - people actually read this stuff? - so I feel a certain indebtedness to continue to my anticipatory audience. Various things have prevented me from doing so for the past couple weeks. This will change, although probably not until next week because I'll be away for a long weekend.

I've been busy but also got a bit overloaded with the transcription. I think it was too close to the trip. I need a bit of time for reflection and just to get in the right mood to continue. I have a ton of pics uploaded to my iBook, but I need to organize them, put them in online galleries, caption them, etc. - that takes a not inconsiderable amount of time and effort. I want to get the pics from the Ireland portion of the trip up to go along with that part of the journal so people have some visuals to go along with the (admittedly vibrant) prose.
