Who's ready to have some fun?

And by that I mean: Who's up for some good ol' fashioned Scottoway deconstructing?

Looks like Scottoway S. Otericallyrantsalot is back to his old ways!

All is well with the universe.

I am so glad to learn that SWMBO & I are not the only ones asking THAT question; and I do ~ hope against hope ~ hope that someone on THIS 'planet' is asking "Isn't it the sun and sun anomalies?"

...but I imagine rhetorical questions...they'll drive you out of your fear & 'gore'...are just too too much like truisms o respect.

Global warming circa 2008: the use of coal for home heating has risen 3.5% in Germany over recent months owing to inordinate cold.

THAT can't be true - it doesn't agree with projections!

Who's projecting?

Doc:

(A) Scott's rant was about the terminology being used to describe global warming, not the problem itself, to which far too little attention is being paid.

(B) Indeed, thousands of excellent scientists have asked this question and resoundingly and unanimously answered, "Yes, global warming exists and is primarily due to the greenhouse gases being generated by human industry".

(C) Global warming is perhaps a misnomer, which is why "climate change" is becoming the preferred term. The fundamental problems are all generated by a rise in average temperatures worldwide, which doesn't mean that every place is getting warmer. When the whole world heats up, the weather changes, and some places actually get colder. Thus, colder winters in Europe may actually be exactly what models predict.

(D) It truly is worrying that an educated person such as yourself is being bombarded with such a huge quantity of misinformation that you refuse to acknowledge a situation as certain as the sun rising tomorrow.
