The Internets: An Amazing Resource

Are you aware that 92.9 WBOS displays the last 100 songs played on their webernetsite? This is my new favorite thing. So simple, yet so awesome. Handy if you want to find out the name and artist of a song. In case you need to, oh I don't know, use those search terms to locate a file of it in digital format and download it illegally sample some music before purchasing it.

Love the new format on BOS. They shifted from their soft rock vibe over to a solid alternative station. Hearing some Alice in Chains brought me right back to my quasi-grunge days at Pierce Middle School. Heady days, those.

I have to agree the new 92.9 is pretty good. We've been listening to it in the OR. Last week I was sewing an AV fistula while singing along to Pearl Jam. What could be better?

I had no idea BOS got cool!

And Alice in Chains was definitely the first CD I ever bought...circa 7th grade. I think I thought I was hardcore?? My friends pretty much died laughing when I told them that recently.

That's legot that WBOS has become a meat and potatoes alt-rock station. Speaking of which, I'm going to both Pearl Jam shows at the Tweeter in June. I love you, Eddie.
