"Present."

A fantastic response to criticism that Barack Obama's record of voting "present" on many bills during his service in the Illinois Senate means that he doesn't take a stand on issues.

The op-ed piece's author, Abner Mikva, was an Illinois state legislator among other positions which highly recommend his opinion on the matter.

Yet another example of how dishonest attacks intentionally confuse and mislead voters (upon first hearing this criticism I admit that I myself put a check in Obama's minus column. Didn't matter, of course - it was outweighed by about a bajillion pluses.)
