LOST: Season 4, Episode Two
The craziness continues. As I thought, the mysterious "rescue" party is after Ben. Perhaps they are Dharma or hired by Dharma to find Ben and the Others who took out the Dharma Initiative folks back in the day?
Also: What's with the polar bears? Seriously.
Creepy. Intriguing. Confusing. LOST.

While I'm glad to have LOST back in the game, I'm pretty unimpressed with the first two episodes of Season 4.
First of all, the writers seem to be in absentia even though these episodes were filmed months before the strike started. "Didn't you hear her give the code, Dan? If we have a gun to our head we're supposed to say, 'Tell my sister I love her.'" Might as well have named him Miles Exposition.
Plus I'm getting sick of how often they go to Ben to make a spooky pronouncement in his creeped-out voice whenever they need to inject some forward momentum into the plot.
Finally, note how Locke brought up the monster after it had been completely absent for Season three? It's almost like the producers watched a re-run of Season 1 and were like, "Oh shit, I forgot about that black smoke thing..."
I'm hoping for something better soon!
True. I thought the same thing at those parts. It's imperfect and kind of silly at times, but it nevertheless scratches me right where I itch.
Plus: Lt. MF Daniels!!!!!
Yeah, when I first saw him in Hurley's mental rig, I nearly jumped out of my chair.
