Battle Cobia: Oliver vs. Batali
Just watched a pretty entertaining battle on Iron Chef America between Jamie Oliver and Mario Batali. The secret ingredient was cobia, ugly-looking spiny fish which cook a bit like sea bass, according to the judges. It was a tough battle with a weird ingredient but some excellent-looking dishes. Oliver's sous-chef Gennaro was a hoot, hamming it up for the cameras in a big way.
Also just checked out Oliver's new show, Jamie At Home. This premiere episode featured dishes with peppers and chilies. The theme of the show is simple ingredients - Oliver uses a lot of fresh stuff right from his garden. I used to like him on The Naked Chef. He's got a great personality and a lot of charisma. Should be a good addition to the Food Network family.

Ohh I meant to watch these tonight! Jamie Oliver is great. I'm excited to see Iron Chef with the new chef Michael Symon!
Since this is apparently the place to discuss the scottosphere, where the hell are his long promised updates? I demand satisfaction.
Yeah Scottoway promised the blogosphere there would be "big things" in 2008.
So far I see a lot of greyscale stylesheets.
