Liquid Xmas

I discovered this cocktail at our company holiday party a couple weeks back, courtesy of our intern. She claims to have invented it - I've never heard of it before, but it's tasty, refreshing, and seasonal: gin, ginger ale, and cranberry juice over ice with a lime wedge. Something like a 2:2:1 ratio works well, but if I were you I'd experiment a bit.

Well, she lied or she's mistaken. It's called a Cranberry Buck - there's a more popular version with orange juice aptly named the Orange Buck. Sorry to burst bubbles and all.

I believe she was simply mistaken. She admitted it may have another name that she was unaware of; I was inclined to think so because of the simplicity of the cocktail.

I prefer her appellation, however, at least for the holiday season. Liquid Christmas has such a nice ring to it!

I definitely back the liquid xmas. You like bombay? I've got a bottle, maybe we should bring it to the party on saturday and have some of the above, aforementioned drink.

Do I like Bombay? Is the Pope a Papist? I think you just answered your own question.
