Box 2.0
I was in the Golden Goose last night and on a whim decided to try the Black Box Merlot. It's, er, quantity over quality, to be sure. But it's decent for a boxed red, and you can't beat 3 liters of wine for $24.99.

I just found you via 20something and now that I have seen Alison Krauss, all things Boston and the Blackstone Black Box, I had to pipe up. You're right, BB is still quantity but if the only non-magnum alternative is Sunset Blush, it's not bad at all.
In fact, I have toyed with the idea of just keeping a box on hand to poor from after work. I think it was decided that it would lead to excess as a product of availability but it stays so fresh!
Back on topic- glad I found you, I'll be back.
Hey thanks for stopping by! I will return the favor soon.
I must admit it was nice to come home every night for a week and find a seemingly endless box of wine. It's drinkable, but really hardly more than that.
