Hilarious, no doubt, but I feel an obligation to point out the obvious- ie that this is yet another negative depiction of gay/transvestites/transexuals as perverts and pedophiles which viewers are going to subconciously remember and then perhaps recall in a homophobic argument later ;)
I'm not too sure about that. That's a possible interpretation, I suppose, but I think it's a negative depiction of dirty old man pedophiles, which is perfectly fitting.
I don't think it's a negative commentary on Herbert as a "gay" man.
