Pain Is the New Euphoria?
You know you're out of shape when Dunndee's 8-Min Abs take you 15 mins.
Ran a nice new route yesterday: Leave my apt, go down Lewis to Commercial, cut past the Goose and run across Columbus Park, by Tia's down to Commercial Wharf, around and past the Aquarium along the Harborwalk. This is very cool because it goes by the Boston Harbor Hotel, then up and over the Northern Ave bridge to the new courthouse, around the courthouse and over to the ICA. Then out, circling around the other side of the courthouse, past the Barking Crab and up over the Seaport Ave bridge, and then I ran back along Atlantic Ave home. About 3.5, give or take. Some lovely scenery along this route.
It's good to have some variety. So now I have two solid 3.5 mi routes that are both along the water. Now I just have to keep up a regular schedule and try to get rid of my tall boy.

Especially since his 8 minutes abs probably takes everyone else 5 minutes.
I am very jealous of your run routes. I run past a bunch of large generators and that's about it. They are fairly consistant though, about 3 every 1/4 mile. They make the 105 degrees feel breezy.
Hey! While I appreciate the call at Dunndee, that's also a call at me.
Which I don't appreciate.
Yeah it's nice to live in the city and have the option of not running past office buildings (or generators, for instance).
Running is the devil's work.
Yeah I didn't think you would appreciate the double hit. I did though.
