If You Do Not Recognize the Supremacy of Wake, He Will Drill You Through the Carotid As If You Were a 12-Point Buck

This is perhaps the coolest. Picture. Ever. Notice how Timlin is mentoring Timmay in the art of the compound bow. Also, notice how Timlin hunts with his bare hands.
After a stellar 7-inning, 3H, 5K, 0ER outing last night, Timmay's ERA is looking downright tiny - 1.79. That's the best in the game, people. That's some serious business right there. I can't remember Wake pitching this well consistently before. He usually has a roller coaster of a season that evens out to making him a solid starter who eats up innings and keeps his team in the game. This year so far Wake has been utterly nasty, despite his W-L record (as we all know, an awful metric for a pitcher's ability). His mates came up big in a 13-hit, 8-run drubbing of Doc Halladay & the North-of-the-Border Gang which helped amelioriate the paltry run support that Wake has received this season.
I have to hold myself back from gushing over this team. The hitting, the pitching, the Manny-Tavarez Head Rubbing Sessions - it's all there.
And speaking of Crazy J. Tavarez, he hurls tonight against the Orange Birds' Burres. Expect some antics. And another W.
