This ain't a scene...
Do you ever have that feeling when you wake up, groan because you have to go to work, only to quickly realize that it's Sunday and you get to sleep all day? That's one of the best feelings in the world, innit?
This weekend was fairly A-side. Balled outrageous in Q-city on Friday night with fellow blogospherians Benoc, Scottworthy, LB, Anne and Amanda. Yesterday was the Harpoon Fest - it was fun but I didn't get there until later and only spent a couple hours there. It also got pretty chilly, so it wasn't quite the big outdoor scene like the Octoberfest. I was thankful I got a Friend of Harpoon card after the last fest - the line was about a million times shorter than the normal one, which unfortunately caused some casualties to our planned group. Tried the new Brown Session Ale - pretty treatful. Checked out the Seaport bar after (looks like a sweet rig when the weather gets warmer) and as per usual, the Harp. The Zoo was playing - a pretty daecent cover band, although when the chick got on the mic, she was, um, not good. They did rock a few tight joints however.
I jammed a steak and cheese sub from 7-11 late night last night while watching Dane Cook. I think the former is now lodged in my left ventricle. Cook's really all delivery, man. He had a couple daecent bits but I really don't see what all the fuss is about.
Now, shower and sustenance. The question for today: Will I be productive, soil, or soil in a quasi-productive manner? Signs point to soilage!
